Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials may be given to Bethel Baptist Church.

Jerry was born January 27, 1929 to Alpha and Irene Warfield in Bartley, NE. He graduated from Bartley High School. Jerry married his wife, Glema Maye Winters, on June 26, 1953 and was married for 45 years before her passing.

He worked 26 years at United Telephone Service (Sprint) in Scottsbluff. He also managed mobile home parks in Scottsbluff and North Platte. Jerry and Glema ministered to nursing home residents in North Platte for several years.

He moved to Matthews, NC in 2014 near his daughter, Jenny. There he enjoyed playing Bingo, sharing a “Howdy Doody” with his many friends and staff at Carrington Place Living Center, and eating at Captain D’s with his sons.
